Established as a one-man operation by managing director Chris Rogerson, CRC has continued to grow and develop to the business you see today. Undertaking footpath and mountain biking trail construction projects and established as a preferred contractor for several trail designers and clients to bring their visions to life.
From the beginning of one man and a digger, CRC has invested in the necessary equipment and experienced personnel to allow them to undertake projects of all sizes, usually with a few underway at the same time. CRC is now an established limited company regularly undertaking work for government contracts, community groups and private enterprises.
HERE'S WHAT WE DO
CIVIL & GROUND WORKS
CRC provides traditional civil engineering and groundworks often with an environmental angle such as river bank protection and rural footpaths. Through an established network of specialist consultants and a diverse skill range CRC act as a design and build contractor simplifying project management for clients. Examples of typical services undertaken are:
Ground works including bulk eat works, drainage, concrete bases and foundations
Cable and pipe laying
Roads and tracks – low and upland, unbound aggregate surfaces and tarmac, kerbing and bridges
Forestry – excavator mounted mulching, chainsaw team and large log splitting machine
Fencing –provide agricultural/commercial and domestic fencing services
MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAILS
CRC has constructed many of the mountain biking trails and pump tracks in the North of Scotland. By deploying an expert designer and the vast experience of the build team CRC provides trails and pump tracks of all surface types that keep pace with this constantly evolving activity.
CRC is happy to provide free advice to community groups/companies/councils to help get initial ideas off the ground.
